Purple Hipster and some Unfinished Business
And once again a month passes between blog posts. Sorry. Nothing's really been going on. Same old stuff... school, work, the slow decline of my sanity... nothing out of the ordinary. :p I wish I was still on winter break... so much time to craft!!
I haven't been completely craft-less. I whipped up this set to keep warm during classes (I swear the damn A/C is on in the Arts and Humanities building... in February!) I call it my Purple hipster Cowl and Mitts Set. I don't know, it just looked really hip to me. I love the color, it's some mystery yarn I got from my cousin for Christmas. It's really soft. Okay, well on to the pictures. My lovely friend Danielle is modeling!!

It's all done in double crochet, no pattern. It was pretty easy.
I have a couple WIPs right now, the oldest is this Lion Brand Tunic Top that's been sitting around for a while. I ran out of yarn and apparently Wal Mart doeant carry the colorway anymore? I might just frog it, I dont know if the end result will be as awesome as I am expecting.
Here's a picture of what it's supposed to look like:

(Let's give credit where credit is due, now... I got this picture off carriem's page on Ravelry... Look how cute it looks!)
I'm doing mine in dark gray:

All out of yarn: :(

I'm also working on an amigurumi octopus... I've got the head and 2 legs done so far. I'll take pics soon.
Okay well I guess I should be studying for this damn Art History test. I love you guys!!

A multitude of hats!!
...or, "Beaucoup des Chapeaux!!"
Hi everyone! I know it's been a while since I posted, but I have been super-busy with finals and the holidays. I'd like to show you what I did for Christmas presents this year!
I present to you... The "Pretty Puffy Slouchy Hat!" Major kudos to ArghMatey at Craftster.org for the pattern!

And the best part!!

Sorry for the blurry pic. My boss at work got me these personalized tags to sew in my work. Everything I made this year had one of these babies inside it!!
They were well-recieved, and this pattern was so easy and quick!
I love you guys, hopefully a month won't pass between posts!!

All the hats! I made an additional one in blue that I didn;t take pictures of. The purple one is mine, the green and yellow ones are for my roommates, and the black on was commissioned for a coworker's mom.

The only one I hve pictures of is the green one... but they're all the same so just use your imagination :)
